Weekend Reflection / Watercolor #237 / Descript #6

There is this wonderful, communal table at a little auberge just south of St Paul de Vence. We spent the afternoon there once, together, and then the night. It was that good, but it’s just a memory now.

For me, watercolor has become a way to step into that reflective space. It’s also a great place to practice managing expectations;  the colors blend, the water flows, and often things don’t go as planned. But that’s the beauty of it. It’s less about control and more about being present, letting go, and seeing what emerges.

And working with it.
