Be helpful, it’s usually pretty easy.

At some point, we have gained enough. Enough experience. Enough capital. Enough network of people who would probably love to join your next venture, in some capacity. But what if we died with all that goodness, like tomorrow.

My Dad never sold any Insurance in 20 years at NY Life… but people sure bought a lot from him, because he helped… everyone. Not doing so would be like spilling really good wine. Gifts like these deserve to be shared, and certainly not wasted. True connectors pay it forward without obsessing about “what’s in it for me”.

That’s my thinking behind serving with Family Office Associations Advisory board. If the people that gather there, regularly, can just share a few bits of helpful, amazing things can get done.

Playing tight to the vest gets no-one nothing.
