In both writing and entrepreneurship, the greatest challenge lies in recognizing the void and having the courage to fill it. Toni Morrison once said,

“If there’s a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.” The same holds true for any endeavor: if the solution you’re searching for doesn’t exist, you create it.

Co-writing A Line in the Sand wasn’t just about telling a story; it was about addressing a gap in the narrative landscape, exploring the complex boundaries we all navigate. Similarly, in business, innovation often starts with noticing what’s missing, something that could reshape how we connect or solve problems. Reelay is a passionate example of that.

Both authorship and entrepreneurship require boldness—the courage to see what isn’t there and the persistence to bring it into being. It’s rarely easy, but there’s power in responding to the world’s unspoken needs. In both writing and building a business, the challenge is to envision what others may not see and to make it real.

And sometimes, against the odds, it actually works. Something new takes shape, an idea becomes a solution, and a gap is filled. In those moments, you realize that creating something from nothing is not only possible—it can also change things for the better.
