Weekend Reflection / Watercolor #216 Red Mailbox

Weekend Reflection / Watercolor #216 Red Mailbox

This one caught my eye in Antibes. We spent the afternoon there once, together, and then the night in a hotel overlooking the Esterel Mountains. How many love letters fit into that box, both sent and received and how many are just a memory now.

Weekend Watercolor #216 Red Mailbox – Une boîte aux lettres rouge.

For me, watercolor has become a way to step into that reflective space. It’s also a great place to practice managing expectations;  the colors blend, the water flows, and often things don’t go as planned. But that’s the beauty of it. It’s less about control and more about being present, letting go, and seeing what emerges.

And working with it.
