Weekend Whitespace / Watercolor #136 Pont de Carcassone

Weekend Whitespace / Watercolor #136 Pont de Carcassone

Whitespace doesn’t feel empty to me; it’s full of potential. The quiet gaps in life—those pauses we often overlook—can hold so much possibility. For me, watercolor has become a way to step into that space. It’s a great place to practice managing expectations;  the colors blend, the water flows, and often things don’t go as planned. But that’s the beauty of it. It’s less about control and more about being present, letting go, and seeing what emerges.

And working with it.

TE Lawrence visited this castle on his 1,500 mile bike trip, sketching for his senior thesis at Oxford. We arrived by car, and I never went to Oxford. No matter.
